Dr. Fries received his Medical doctor of Optometry from O.S.U. in 2004. He includes a new practice in Grove City, Ohio. Dr. Fries completed his undergraduate research at the Ohio State University having a Bachelor of Science degree in Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology.
He received his Doctor of Optometry in 2004 from the Ohio State University College of Optometry exactly where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into two international optometric honor societies. Dr. Fries completed a lot of external rotations focused on ocular illness and primary eye care. He also has extensive expertise in geriatric and nursing dwelling eye care and has spent time as a Clinical Instructor at the Ohio State University College of Optometry having a focus on fitting make contact with lenses.
Dr. Fries was appointed by Governor Ted Strickland for the State of Ohio Optical Dispensers Board in 2007, where he serves as the only optometrist. He also serves on the Epsilon Psi Epsilon Optometric Fraternity Alumni Board and is often a member of your Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
In his absolutely free time Dr. Fries enjoys traveling, watching Ohio State athletics and playing golf. He and his wife Cheryl also enjoy spending time with their dog Paddington.
